When you shake this cocktail, you see the fig seeds from the jam rain down the glass. Figs resemble little hearts to me and the pink, red, hues of this drink tied it all together. I was listening to some Buddy Holly and this song came to mind, it’s a good one and if your heart is raining this cocktail should be your umbrella.

- 1.5 OZ Straight Bourbon
- 0.75 OZ Tamarind Nectar
- 0.50 OZ Fresh Lime
- 2 barspoons of Fig Jam
- 2 dashes of Tiki Bitters
Rocks/Shake/Ice
Garnish: Bourbon Cherry & Lime Peel
Add all ingredients in shaker with ice, shake, strain over fresh ice & garnish.
