Small Batch Handcrafted Bourbon and Spirits
The Three Chord team of expert blenders, coopers, and sensory professionals have developed a multi-step process we call “Perfectly Tuned Taste.” Our process begins by carefully selecting the finest bourbon and rye whiskeys from different whiskey producing regions across North America. By using carefully selected barrels and combining unique flavor profiles, Three Chord creates expressions that are greater than the sum of their parts. We utilize new and old world techniques including low barrel entry proof, speciality barrel finishing and our proprietary process of pyrolysis — heating American oak to precise temperatures to release specific flavor and aroma compounds. Finally, each small batch blend of Three Chord is evaluated by a trained sensory panel to ensure an uncommon depth of flavor, character, aroma and a “Perfectly Tuned Taste” in each bottle.
Blended Bourbon Whiskey

The Three Chord flagship small batch is bottled at an easy-drinking 81 proof, featuring up to 12 year old whiskeys from Kentucky, Indiana, and Tennessee to create a smooth, aromatic and versatile bourbon whiskey. Our secondary, controlled, wood-charring process reintroduces compounds to create its maple syrup, caramel, and vanilla character. Integrating the additional toasted White American Oak staves brings depth of flavor and a hint of smokiness. We bottle our 100% blended bourbon 250 gallons at a time for a consistent flavor profile and quality taste. Perfect for cocktails, highballs, or neat.
Amplify Rye Whiskey

Drier and spicier than most whiskey, Three Chord Amplify Rye offers an array of flavors and aromas not present in bourbon. Three Chord Amplify Rye features the grain-forward (almost grassy) character of young Kentucky rye and more refined, deeper flavors of older Indiana rye. The two whiskeys are blended in a large tank before re-barreling for 2-6 months. At 95 proof, Amplify Rye expresses a remarkable depth of rye character that offers complexity, elegance, and balance.
Strange Collaboration

Strange Collaboration is a blend of Kentucky Straight bourbon (aged between 2-6 yrs.), selected for low fusel oil content and light body, finished for 3 months in Strange Family French Oak pinot noir casks, and bottled at 99 proof. The result is a unique expression of bourbon — high-proof, light body with a hint of pinot noir on the nose and finish. Perfect to be enjoyed neat or in a cocktail. Complex red fruit on the nose. Cherry, currant, fresh strawberries & raspberries. Flavor starts with notes of Pinot Noir, followed by oak, spice and vanilla.
Tennessee Straight Whiskey

Our small batch Tennessee Straight Whiskey is light yet flavorful, distilled and aged at least 36 months. Using the maple charcoal filtration process, we have refined the whiskey to a “Perfectly Tuned Taste." Just as a three-chord progression is at the foundation of great music, Three Chord Tennessee Straight Whiskey is at the heart of a great spirit.

At the heart and soul of some of the greatest music ever composed is the twelve-bar blues progression. Its unique structure, tone, and character is created through each artist’s interpretation. Our Three Chord Twelve Bar Reserve was created with those elements in mind. Three Chord tips its hat to the legends who mastered the twelve-bar blues and to those who continue to create. We do not use water in the blending of Twelve Bar Reserve. In and out of the cask, Twelve Bar Reserve’s proof ranges from 93 to 107. Our 12-year-old bourbon is bottled 600 bottles at a time to make sure every drop is “perfectly tuned”!

At Three Chord, we are first and foremost blenders. However, when we come across a small lot of barrels and feel they should enter the bourbon community in their original form, we release them without modification. Whiskey Drummer 15 Year Straight Bourbon Whiskey is non-chill filtered and bottled at barrel proof (107.1 to 117.9 Proof). A total of 3 limited releases have entered the market as of summer 2021. This is the first in the Three Chord Gold Series, a collection in which the artists actually helps create their own unique bourbon in collaboration with Three Chord. Each bottle will be numbered and is personally crafted by the band members for you, their fans!
Three Chord Honey Toasted Whiskey

5-6 year old MGP Bourbon and 8 year old KY Corn Whiskey were blended together and aged for 3 months in toasted barrels from Independent Stave Company and Speyside Cooperage. Those 3 months were followed by 1 month in barrels that previously held honey from Fern Valley Farms in Arkansas. This blend of three whiskeys and two finishes created a bold, yet balanced whiskey with a sweet honey finish.
